Black Beans

Ingredients 

2 Cups of black beans soaked in 10 cups of water during 8 hours. 
1 Cup of oil 
1 Green pepper 
6 Cloves of garlic 
1 Leaf of Laurel 
1/2 Spoonful of milled cumin 
1/2 Spoonful of toasted oregano 
2 Spoonfuls of salt 
2 Spoonfuls of vinegar 
4 Spoonfuls of sugar 

Way of proceeding 

In a recipient put beans and water, and cook them quickly until it 
breaks the boil and later cook them on a low flame until the beans
became soft. Then make a  fried sauce with the oil, pepper, onion,
the garlics mashed with the oregano and the cumin, add salt and 
the laurel leaf; spills this sauce to the beans and it is cooked 
by 20 minutes on a low flame. Then add vinegar and sugar dissolved
in some water. It is cooked slow for 5 minutes. 

 

Tamale in their leaf

Ingredients 

2  Onions 
2  Red sweet peppers 
12 Tomatoes without skin and seeds 
2  Cloves of garlic 
4  Spoonfuls of oil 
1  kilogram of chopped pork mass 
1/4 Spoonful of powdered pepper 
1/4 Spoonful of comin 
1  Spoonful of salt 
15 Cobs of corn (neither very tender neither very fact) 

Way of proceeding 

First of all grind the onions, red sweet peppers and tomatoes, 
warm the oil and the ingredients are added with the meat of pig, 
they are cooked until this kind of sauce is well cooked, 
then add pepper, cumin and salt and it is cooked more some minutes.
It is threshed the cobs and the corn is milled, mixing it with the 
fried sauce. Then begin to stuff the double leaves of the cobs with 
this mixture, after that, bend the tips of the leaves and tie the 
tamales. They are thrown in a pot of water boiling with salt, laurel 
and some cloves of garlic during one hour. They are drainned and 
we allow them to get lost the vapor, removing the leaves and you 
serve it with garlic sauce.

 

Daiquiri

Ingredients 

2 Ounces of rum 
1 Spoonful of sugar 
1 Spoonful marrasquino 
Juice of a green lemon 
Frape Ice  

Elaboration 

Shake it and serve it frape.
